Who I am and what makes me tick.
What prompted you to start a career in marketing contract compliance?
I was seeking an opportunity that would allow me to build a meaningful and fulfilling career. Specialising in marketing contract compliance offered the perfect balance — a chance to apply my experience in a way that delivers measurable value and contributes to positive outcomes for our clients.
How has your previous experience helped you at Financial Progression?
My career has spanned several roles, beginning in external audit with EY before moving into internal audit with owner-managed businesses, and most recently working at Forvis Mazars UK. This wide-ranging experience — planning, performing, and leading numerous audits across a variety of industries — has equipped me with the technical expertise and analytical skills needed to deliver high-quality audit work. Additionally, my extensive experience in stakeholder management enables me to effectively manage client expectations, build strong relationships, and contribute to achieving the firm’s strategic objectives.
Which part of your work gives you the greatest sense of achievement?
I gain the greatest sense of achievement from knowing that my work has made a measurable impact. I’m motivated by going beyond what’s expected — delivering results that not only meet but exceed client expectations.
How would people describe you?
Those who know me would describe me as hardworking, dependable, resilient and diligent. My friends and family would also describe me as caring and empathetic, always going the extra-mile for others in need.
What motivates you to do what you do?
I chose this career because it allows me to make a tangible and meaningful difference. I’m highly motivated by seeing clients and stakeholders benefit from positive, measurable contributions to their businesses. In addition, my commitment to transparency and fairness drives me to identify and address discrepancies, ensuring that clients receive the value and clarity they deserve.
What can you be found doing when you’re not at work?
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my young daughter — I love seeing the world through her eyes. As a family, we enjoy watching football together and spending our weekends surrounded by family and friends.
