Who I am and what makes me tick.
What prompted you to start a career in marketing contract compliance?
As a recent graduate I was seeking opportunities which will allow me the greatest opportunities to learn and develop whilst making the biggest impact possible. I am delighted to have joined Financial Progression’s talented team, assisting on contract compliance audits. I will be able to learn from a team of experienced experts and perform work that strengthens meaningful relationships between advertisers and their agencies.
How has your previous experience helped you at Financial Progression?
I studied Global Development at the University of York, where I benefited from problem-based learning and interdisciplinary study, which shaped my ability to tackle complex challenges from multiple perspectives. I further honed my analytical skills and attention to detail through a research internship and gained valuable experience through my responsibilities volunteering at a local charity.
Which part of your work gives you the greatest sense of achievement?
The most fulfilling part of my work is seeing the tangible impact compliance can have for our clients by fostering stronger, more collaborative partnerships as well as recovering important budgets. It’s rewarding to know that my efforts contribute to both the financial health and the integrity and transparency of the businesses I support.
How would people describe you?
I’d often be described as reliable, approachable and curious. I think I thrive best when using my attention to detail and communication skills to break down complex issues into clear, practical terms.
What motivates you to do what you do?
I’m motivated by the challenge of tackling complex issues and knowing my work is centred around transparency, integrity and accountability.
What can you be found doing when you’re not at work?
Outside of work, I enjoy playing or watching football. I play three times a week and try to watch the team I support when I don’t have a game myself. I also enjoy cooking for my family and friends.
