Who I am and what makes me tick.
What prompted you to start a career in marketing contract compliance?
Having worked in the media industry for several years, I’ve experienced how fast-moving and complex it can be, where attention to detail and accuracy are essential. I enjoy solving challenges, asking questions, and continuously learning, so contract compliance felt like a natural next step for me. It gives me the opportunity to build on my media experience while developing specialist knowledge in an area where I can make a real difference.
How has your previous experience helped you at Financial Progression?
My experience in media reporting has given me a strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to working with information. It taught me to work to tight deadlines, manage priorities, and communicate with different stakeholders. Most importantly, I learned not to simply take information at face value, but to ask questions and verify the details. These skills have been a great foundation for my work at Financial Progression.
Which part of your work gives you the greatest sense of achievement?
I get the greatest sense of achievement from solving complex issues and spotting discrepancies that may not be immediately visible. I enjoy putting the pieces together, asking the right questions, and getting to source of an issue. It’s particularly rewarding when my work helps prevent inaccurate information before deadlines and gives clients greater confidence in the results.
How would people describe you?
I think people would describe me as proactive, reliable, and approachable. I enjoy a challenge and like finding solutions, but I also value being supportive and working well with others. I tend to stay calm under pressure and take pride in being someone people can rely on.
What motivates you to do what you do?
I’m motivated by growth, challenges and knowing that I’ve given my best. I enjoy exploring new opportunities, learning along the way, and pushing myself outside my comfort zone. For me, reaching a goal is only part of the journey — I’m equally motivated by overcoming obstacles, discovering what I’m capable of, and continuing to grow.
What can you be found doing when you’re not at work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I especially love learning new piano songs with my daughters, going for walks, and enjoying time in nature. I find that these simple moments are a great way to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality time together.
